In the past we have told you how effective and easy it is to treat leg ulcers with ozone gas. The pictures here illustrate the improvement gained in just 12 days of treatment. Notice, in the left hand picture, the ulcer is full of infected material and the inflammation is spreading outward as the ulcer is growing. In the right hand picture the inflammation around the ulcer is dramatically improved and a healthy scab has formed on the ulcer. The Ozone treatment is very simple and because the ulcer and its surrounding tissues are not touched, it does not hurt the patient. All that is required is a simple plastic bag made in to a little "tent" with aid of some micropore tape (in this case the bag was a simple sandwich bag). The Ozone tube is then put in to the "tent" and Ozone gas from the Ozonator (code 5030) is pumped in. See picture on left hand side.
Patients report that the ulcer tingles with the gas and then puckers up after treatment. Also, unlike a lot of treatments, very little pain is felt by the patient, something that can not be said for most other treatments.
