Method. Ozone

Results. Amazing, you could the ulcer shrink after each treatment.

Ulcer Treatment diary:
This patient was a 50 year old woman who had had her Varicose leg ulcer for over a year. She was told it would probably get worse despite conventional treatment.

Day 1. 19/2/07
Ulcer treated as follows, plastic bubble over ulcer was infused with Ozone gas from Ozone maker (Air stone removed) for 2 minutes. This was repeated every 15 minutes. (i.e. 4 times an hour).
During treatment the ulcer felt itchy and a bit tingly. After treatment the ulcer looked puckered up. There was no pain in it for the rest of the day, first time in ages.

Day 2. 20/02/07
No pain during the night. Was quite itchy this morning.
Before treatment there was fresh blood in the ulcers but no puss and it no longer looked cyanosed. (purple/blue colour). Looked pink for the first time in ages. Treatment repeated in day 1. Tingling during treatment.
Ulcer looked puckered up after treatment.

Day 3. 21/02/2007.
No pain at all. Before this treatment the ulcer was full of debris and we were not expecting the ozone to be very effective. However, after treatment the ulcer looked puckered once again and is definitely shrinking in diameter.

Day 4. 22-02-2007.
Night was ok no pain at all and very comfortable can now even lay on my right side first time in over a year.. Ulcer now is much smaller and definitely less deep. During Ozone treatment today a little stinging and tingly after.

Day5. 23/02/07.
Ulcer has SCABBED over, first time ever. Wondering if Ozone will have any effect through scab. No pain. During Ozone treatment a little bit of sting during third blast of Ozone.

Weekend.

Day 7. 26/02/2007
Still scabbed over and scab seem to be raising and itching. Tingled during Ozone treatment.

Day 8. 27/02/2007
No Ozone treatment.
Scabby, shrinking. Feels so much better. Accidentally knocked of scab that evening.

Day 12. 3/3/2007
No Ozone treatment.
Re scabbed over half the size of previous scab.

Latest report.
Day 14. 5/3/2007
No Ozone treatment.
Scab fallen of again, skin at normal level and nice and pink. Will let you know if I need further treatment.

Ozone - helpful application hints!

Ozone has a wonderful smell, but in larger amounts will irritate the lungs, so use it carefully and if in doubt do this outdoors.

For skin infections (like ulcers), enclose the area carefully with a sealed polythene bag, or tape a piece of polythene to the area - be careful not to hurt the patient! Then inflate the polythene with Ozone from your ozonator. You don't need to inflate it like a balloon, just a little gas will do. The ozone will kill off invasive organisms and stimulate the skin.

Ozone can also be used in this way to treat fungating cancer (cancer breaking through the skin).
